Twinleaf Education is based in the Washington, DC area. Our growing education practice provides personalized support to Montessori students, alumni, and teachers, as well as strategic and operational support for schools. Founded in 2019, we are building an education practice centered around the advancement of every Montessori learner.

Zahra began her career as an award-winning Teach For America alumna and has since supported public and independent education programs around the country as a teacher, administrator, and consultant at every level from birth through adulthood. As a Montessori alumna and daughter of a Montessori teacher, she is passionate about expanding Montessori education, supporting Montessori students as they transition on to new adventures in learning and development, and collaborating with Montessori leaders to expand their impact.
Her credentials include a Master of Science in Education from Johns Hopkins University and Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) certification at the elementary level with orientations at the primary and adolescent levels.
Zahra is an associate member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA).
